On August 15,2009 when two Judges announced my boy Lorcan as the 2 year old Futurity Halter Champion I almost cried in front of a whole lot people! Then when he won the halter class in 2 to 4 year olds I had to regain my composure real quick!! I really busted my hump and his (along with two others) to get him in shape for this show. Then for 3 weeks before the show we couldn't do anything. I had a lot of rain at my house and everything was mud. With no indoor arena and none around to use I thought it was over. I wasn't about to have him slip and get hurt. After all I already knew how great he was. With a lot of doubt in my mind I loaded him and 2 other Gypsies in my trailer, we drove 556 miles in 11 hours to the show. All three did fantastic!! See that on the News and Events page.

At the Great Lakes Gypsy Vanner Horse Club Futurity show he took everyone by surprise, including me. We didn't have a lot of time to prepare for the show. When he took Reserve Grand Champion for his age Denise from Feathered Gold Stables had to yell at me. Makes me wish we would of had more time. He placed very well in all his classes. Even first in the obstacle class. He never fails to amaze me.

Another amazing performance by our boy. He placed first for the yearlings!! Oh I can't wait until next show season. He learns so fast and has such an awesome temperament, nothing bothers him and he tries so hard to please. He actually always pleases me and makes me very proud he's in my pasture.
